Ceres natural and organic foods is a natural foods Store in Yeovil, Somerset; and has been trading since 1977. A recent ( Feburary 2001 ) shop refit means we now operate from a huge, dynamic, modern, light and airy shop with a retail floor area approaching 1500 sq ft.

We are lacto-vegetarians and so do not sell meat or fish products* but are happy to supply foods from vegan through to those containing eggs, honey and dairy products.

Our food ranges include organic, gluten free, dairy free, sugar free, ethnic, local produce and special diet needs.

Non food ranges include supplements, herbals, homeopathics, aromatherapy, magnatherapy, flower remedies, ecological cleaning products, books : selfHelp, cookery, natural medicine, diet and fitness and more.

We are a Soil Association Licensed Organic shop with expanding own label organic and NaturalFood ranges packed fresh in-house. This means you can have the confidence in knowing your wholefoods will have been freshly packed and will not have been sitting on wholesaler's shelves for months on end before you receive them.

Our own label products include organic and non organic: peas, beans and grains, flours, cereals, nuts, seeds, dried fruits, herbs and spices; and include gluten free, dairy free, sugar free and salt free foods. We are always looking to expand with new lines and try to adopt a policy of obtaining our customers requirements without compromising quality.

We have a retail off-license for the sale of both locally produced and a worldwide selection of principally organic wines, beers and spirits.
For those who prefer to make their own we are stockists of home brewing : equipment, kits, books and 'chemicals'.

Making A Purchase
Making a purchase could not be easier. Just browse our Catalogue, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. After you have finished your selection, click on "Order" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. We accept Visa, Mastercard and switch cards. Cautions
All information about products, including ingredients, classifications and other details are believed to be correct, but cannot be guaranteed, please check pack for any changes in ingredients before consumption. Purchasers should satisfy themselves from manufacturers information that the products they purchase are appropriate for the consumer and will not give rise to allergic reactions or other intolerances. Consumers are advised to contact the manufacturer of the goods, or their own doctor directly if they have any doubts concerning the nature of product ingredients or if the suspect that they may be allergic to ingredients. Our own Ceres brand food products are packed in variable weight bags and packs may display a price different to that advertised. In this event we warranty you will receive a pro rata equivalent or pack of greater value.

Delivery Schedule
We deliver your order right away. Orders received before 11:00 will normally be sent to you in one business day by parcel carrier. Orders for goods to Mainland Britain will be subject to a carriage charge of £8.95

Out of Stocks
If a product (s) you wish to order is Out of Stock we will normally send the rest of the order under our standard terms and conditions. If this should result in a lower order value which would normally incur an additional charge, or if you tell us not to send the order , we will email you for your further instructions before despatching the order.If the product you wish to order does not have an"Add to basket"button then the item is out of stock at the time of browsing. Information is updated regularly so please look again or email us.

Tax Charges
All prices shown are inclusive of VAT where applicable.

We know of no documented cases of credit card fraud using our shopping system over the Internet. All credit card numbers are encrypted in the software when the order is placed using SSL encryption. Guarantee, Returns and Order Cancellation
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a 30 day no quibble guarantee. You may cancel your order up to 3 days after receiving the goods. If you wish to cancel before we have despatched the goods then please email cancel@ceresfoods.com If you wish to cancel after we have despatched the goods then please email returns@ceresfoods.com to arrange a return. In this instance, the charge made to you will be refunded on return of the goods. If the return is for reasons other than faulty / incorrect goods then there will be a charge to cover the cost of returning the goods to us.
